Ever had that dream where you suddenly realize that everyone is pointing and laughing at you because you're naked as the day you were born? That happens to me a lot. Psychologically that is--I'm not that much of an exhibitionist.
Next fall I'll be jetting off to Prague for adventures in the Wild Wild East. Do I know Czech? Negatory. Have I ever been outside France, the UK or the US? Nada, except for that one time I accidently drove into Italy and that other time I wound up in Monaco (don't ask). Do I have the patience or understanding to deal with Eastern European bureaucracies? Oh hell no, I practically have a temper tantrum if the line at starbucks is more than two people long.
Needless to say, it should be an adventure, punctuated with moments of grave humiliation and psychological nakedness.
So why not share the shadenfreud?
